OYSTER PROMO

Eating oysters is a novelty for many people in Sweden, especially if you don’t live on the west coast. We obviously want to help spread the knowledge and passion for oysters, especially for our own farmed Ostrea edulis. We are sometimes invited by wholesalers, fishmongers and restaurants to participate in oyster events such as oyster tastings or oyster shucking demonstrations.

We have also participated in conferences and given lectures on what we do. It has mainly been oyster-focused presentations, but we have also talked about aquaculture, sustainable seafood, marine small business operations and oyster farming as environmental protection.
